Here’s the Doritos Locos Taco Wrapped in a Cheesy Layer of Bacon
Sometimes I wonder if Nick over at Dude Foods is a genius or a mad man with a marvelous fetish for bacon . . . or both. Either way, his latest concoction — the Cheesy Bacon Weave Doritos Locos Taco — takes our pork-filled dreams to the next level.
Nick was inspired to create the dish after many suggested he combine his Bacon Weave Taco shell with the DLT. Of course, that would be child’s play for the guy who previously deep-fried the DLT in beer and bacon batter. Thus, like a pro, he added a layer consisting of a three-cheese blend between the bacon weave shell and the Nacho Cheese DLT shell.
The next logical step to this bacon DLT evolution? “[M]ake another one, dip it in a beer and bacon batter and deep fry it!” says Nick.
Like we said, the guy’s a professional.
