The Krispy Kreme Sloppy Joe Exists

Just when you thought the Dunkin’ Donuts Breakfast Sandwich was the craziest thing between a donut bun, someone had to go and take this donut sammich trend to another level.

Making it’s debut at the San Diego County Fair, this fatty concoction was created by Chicken Charlie’s. You know, the same people who brought you the Krispy Kreme Chicken Sandwich: a raspberry jelly-filled donut, split in half, stuffed with chicken, topped with honey sauce. No big.

Looking to step their game up, Chicken Charlie’s is offering the latest in outrageously delicious fair food with the Krispy Kreme Sloppy Joe. Featuring a pile o’ sloppy joe topped with cheese inside a split Krispy Kreme glazed donut, this heart attack of a sandwich seems to pair well with a deep fried bacon-wrapped pickle. Because only in America do we pair fried food together like cheese and fine wine.

No word yet on how this dish actually tastes but how can you go wrong with a sandwich oozing its meaty guts between two pieces of fried sugar?

The answer: you can’t.
