Say What? Nail Art x Burger Porn is Trending, Kinda

The digital age has brought with it many strange things. Food porn, for example, exploded with things like tumblr, Instagram, and Pinterest to display our preternatural obsessions with stuff that used to be only foodie wet dreams, like strawberry weed muffins.

So, when the web throws us something like Nailburgerlar, a London-based tumblr that exclusively features fancy burgers on fancier nail art, is it any surprise? Apparently, there are enough people around the world that stop with their burgers halfway to their mouths and say, “Okay, ready? Does it look good? Can you see how cute my nails are while I eat this burger?”

More than that, these people have friends willing to stop what they’re doing to take a close-up of hands + meal. Because that’s what friends do. Because 2013.

Anyway, once you’ve gotten over how . . . original this idea is, you can take the time to appreciate the pictures. It’s got a little something for everyone. A little fashion, a little fun. Just ignore that vegan bagel burger. She has Simpsons nails! That makes up for it, right?
