Presumably, because like the name of the month, “Meatball Marinara” also starts with “M.” So in celebration, let’s come with a list of every “M” word we can think of.

Mayonnaise, macaron, manly, malodorous, mnemonic, morgue, metacrisis, mime, muse, My (Little Pony), mercy, march, make, monkey, mucus, mullet, magnificent, mull, munchkin, mast, masticate, master, mate, mascara, martini, mile, muster, magnet, moo . . .

Subway’s Meatball Marinara features “Italian style meatballs drenched in irresistible marinara sauce, served on freshly baked bread,” $5 for any 12-inch sub throughout the month of May.
