Weed Mayonnaise Is Now Available in the Netherlands, Naturally

Where there’s smoke, there’s usually fire, except where there’s just French fries and the smoke is actually just the smell of weed mayonnaise.

After years of searching for the perfect accompaniment to dry, starchy potatoes that can also cure cottonmouth and combat the munchies, one French fry chain in the Netherlands has just introduced a new weed-flavored mayonnaise, inspired by the “pervasive smell of weed smoke on the street.”

According to Grubstreet, the new ‘Wietsaus’ from Manneken Pis contains no amount of actual cannabis, but is still “creamy,” “dense,” and brimming with the “’unmistakable taste of weed.’”

So in other words, they took the only good parts of weed, the smell and flavor, and left all the fun psychoactive effects in the trash where they belong. Naturally.

You’d think that someplace with the capacity to use real weed as a food flavoring, you know, would, if only to make the taste more authentic, but what do I know.

Still, until they get their sh*t together, at least you can always learn how to make a DIY version made with real marijuana oil, here.
