This Guy Creates the Most Heartless, Unnecessary Way to Separate an Oreo

At first, I thought this was a innocuous video featuring a machine that simply split an Oreo in half. Oh, how I was so terribly wrong. As the clip unfolded, I witnessed a robot disintegrate the delicious cream between the classic cookie.

The horror. The child in me cringed and my eyes widened in disbelief as the “OSM” aka the “Oreo Separator Machine” did the unthinkable with the aid of a CNC router and hatchet. It gets downright inhumane.

If you must watch it, I suggest fast forwarding to 3:30. Skip the parts where the guy spouts off blasphemous mantras such as “Let’s get that cream outta there!” or “This cream is no good, let’s get it off the cookies . . . or something.” Unless, of course, you’re into that.
