Mickey Mouse’s Caffeine Addiction — Starbucks to Enter Every Disney Theme Park in America

News of Mickey Mouse and the siren from the Starbucks logo forming a partnership has just been made public.

Starbucks announced that it plans to open six locations within Disney theme parks in California and Florida, with the first of which popping up this summer at the Disneyland California Adventure park in Anaheim, CA.

While these Disney parks will be the first in America to house a Starbucks, Disney Village at Disneyland Paris was home to a Starbucks cafe that opened back in 2009.

The first cafe location at California Adventure will be located in the Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Café on Buena Vista street, for those of you Disneyland-goers who know the lay of the land. Starbucks notes that this first cafe will play off the Spanish/Mexican architecture of the period — calling on baristas to wear 1920s-inspired attire to keep the mood.

Starbucks president of Global Development Arthur Rubinfeld expressed his thoughts on the partnership, claiming that the Starbucks and Disney brands have “many things in common.” He continued, “We share a passion for providing excellent customer service, delivering high quality in everything we do, and ensuring that every experience with our brand exceeds our customers’ expectations. This is something our customers and partners (employees) have asked for through MyStarbucksIdea.com since the site launched more than four years ago, so we are pleased to bring this idea to life.”

I can only imagine the Disney character-themed specialty drinks they’ll undoubtedly incorporate into the menu. A Goofy Frappuccino? Maybe a Beauty and the Barista Herbal Tea?
