Tribe Hummus [OUR LOOK]

In no way do I consider myself a leading expert on hummus, but I’d like to think that I’ve had enough Mediterranean food over the years to know what pretty good hummus tastes like. Tribe definitely makes the list. Debuting back in 1993 as “Tribe of Two Sheiks” brand of hummus, the product soared to #1 brand hummus within a year.

In 2006, the company was renamed as simply “Tribe” while also going all natural. Branding their product as “No Artificial Anything,” Tribe delivers on their promise even until today with their bold and fresh tasting hummus.

I was lucky enough to try three of their popular flavors, Classic, Spicy Red Pepper, and Mediterranean Style. Each had their own unique taste and special kick. It’s no wonder Tribe has been going strong for almost the last two decades.

From the consistency of quality in the taste, to even the environmentally friendly lids, Tribe assuredly stands out in the hummus department. These last few days, there hasn’t been much in my fridge that I didn’t throw hummus on.
