SoBe Jumps on the Coconut Water Band Wagon

If there’s going to be an “IT” beverage this year, then it’s coconut water. There’s a growing cult of coconut drinkers that’s driven by the perception of the beverage as a “wellness” drink and a slew of celebrity endorsements. Rihanna, Madonna, and Anthony Keidis among other Hollywood celebrities live by the stuff.

This week, skinsuit model Yvonne Strahovski and star of the TV series “Chuck,” helped launch the new SoBE Lifewater with Coconut Water line in South Beach, Florida. Strahovski’s spread will be featured in the 2012 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition in February. The 3 new SoBe Lifewater flavors include: Pacific Coconut, Pomegranate Nectarine, and Mango Mandarin.
