Taco Bell Beefy Crunch Burrito Price Increase Incites Murder Attempt

Reports emerging out of San Antonio are documenting the enraged adventure of a local Taco Bell customer who was furious at the at the price increase of the Beefy Crunch Burrito that had gone from 99 cents to $1.49 each. The customer had placed a seven burrito order, only to realize the price increase, and subsequently firing an air gun at an employee.

Police report note that the suspect fired an assault rifle at officers prior to barricading himself into a hotel room. Officers later used tear gas Sunday night following a three-hour standoff. According to the MySanAntonio article, the man is charged with three counts of attempted capital murder. I guess if we can learn one thing from this…people don’t enjoy price increases on burritos. Seriously.
