Movies: Food, Inc. Trailer

Filmmaker Robert Kenner gives us a look at our nation’s food industry through his cinematographic effort Food, Inc. The film takes a look at the “highly mechanized underbelly” of the industry, exploring the select few corporations that run the entire system. With curious outbreaks of salmonella and E. coli in the past few years, a long with widespread obesity and diabetes, the film has never been more relevant, and from the looks of the trailer, serves as a very interesting and eye-opening experience. To catch a screening, head over to the Magnolia Pictures website for a complete listing or the Food, Inc. website for more information about the film itself.
