Grilled Chicken War: El Pollo Loco vs. Kentucky Grilled Chicken

Ever since Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) decided it was time to roll out Kentucky Grilled Chicken, the war has been on between themselves and long standing Grilled Chicken dealer El Pollo Loco. While both companies decied freebies were in order…the fast food community waits in anticipation to see who makes the next move in this war of chickens…and from the pictures we just got by e-mail, it seems KFC has taken it upon themselves to throw the next punch. What we’re looking at above is what their marketing team seems to refer to as “Grill-A Marketing”. The KFC squad sent over a Kentucky Grilled Chicken Humvee to pay a visit to El Pollo Locos around Southern California, and their corporate headquarters too. More after the jump.
