Pic of the Day: Castle Crashers Bento Box

What you are looking at is a Castle Crashes inspired bento box. For those who are unfamiliar, Castle Crashers is a downloadable game available on the X-Box Live! network. More importantly, the game is created by the awesome minds over at one of my favorite websites outside of Foodbeast and Weather.com, and that site is Newgrounds.com. What’s so special about the website? In its most barbaric of descriptions, it’s basically a website that was a precursor to what YouTube is today, but with a slightly different organization system, and strictly Flash animations/online games created by amazing artists. The website has been around since 1995 and continues to be the most respected source of user-submitted animations on the web. Enough jabber, the above fan-submitted food art sparked enough interest on Newgrounds that they are holding a contest where there they have asked all interested visitors to submit their own recreations of a Castle Crasher character, made entirely of food! Head over to this page to learn more, the deadline is April 26th, 2009! Good luck!
