Wendy’s Launches Their Poutine Dish Nationwide in Canada

Further cementing the symbolic importance behind the poutine dish in Canadian culture, Wendy’s restaurants in Canada will be adding their own take on the classic fry dish into the summer months. The Wendy’s Poutine dish features the brand’s skin-on sea salt sprinkled fries, Canadian cheese curds and covered in a rich poutine sauce.

National and radio TV spots to promote the Poutine dish will begin airing on April 30th in most Canadian markets, alongside revamped in-store graphics and merchandising to help promote. The Wendy’s in Canada is so serious about the push, they’re even coupling their product launch with what they’re calling a Poutition, a call to action to make Poutine the national dish of Canada.

The new poutine is available now at Wendy’s locations across Canada priced at $3.99 and is also available for $2.20 as a side upgrade in a combo.
