IDEA: Cake Batter Popcorn

I love how ideas spread across the Internet in the always bustling, always creative Internet Baking Blogosphere. Case in point? Birthday Cake Popcorn aka Cake Batter Popcorn.

In the midst of my morning blog-reading routine, one of my favorite adventurous foodies, model Christine Teigen, had tried her hand at a batch of Cake Batter Popcorn, a recipe she adopted from Kerry (Bakergirl: Confessions of a Budding Bakestress).

White chocolate candy coating, yellow cake mix, sprinkles, melted down and glazed over a batch of popcorn. I’m sure these have the same, utterly addictive personality that caramel popcorn has, but with twice the toothache. It looks worth the pain though:
