Krispy Kreme Launches Three New Chocolate-themed Doughnuts

Krispy Kreme has some treats for the chocolate-lovers out there moving into 2012. Starting now through March 11th, Krispy Kreme has revealed three new chocolate-flavored doughnuts to satisfy the entire gamut of chocolate lovers, from the casual to the overly indulgent characters who can drink chocolate by the gallon (seek help).

Introducing the Glazed Chocolate Cake, the Dark Chocolate Iced Glazed Doughnut and the Dark Chocolate Kreme-filled. Here’s a quick breakdown of all three donuts, from the company release:

  • For the unabashed chocoholic, The Dark Chocolate Kreme™ Filling doughnut is topped with dark chocolate icing and a milk chocolate drizzle and filled with a smooth dark chocolate Kreme™ filling.
  • For the occasional chocolate craving, The Glazed Chocolate Cake is a chocolate old-fashioned cake doughnut covered in Krispy Kreme’s Original Glaze.
  • And for the true chocolate lover, the New Dark Chocolate Iced Glazed tops Krispy Kreme’s Original Glazed® doughnut off with a ring of rich dark chocolate icing.
These new doughnuts will be available through March 11th at participating Krispy Kreme U.S. and Canada locations.
