Popeyes Turns Up the Heat with New Ghost Pepper Chicken Sandwich

Popeyes is turning up the heat once again, this time with the Ghost Pepper Chicken Sandwich—a spicy twist on their iconic Chicken Sandwich lineup.

Dubbed “scary good, but not scary spicy,” this new offering swaps out the standard mayo for a chili-infused Ghost Pepper Sauce that’s inspired by the brand’s fan-favorite Ghost Pepper Wings. It’s all about bringing that “bold but balanced” heat while keeping the classic build intact: a crispy buttermilk-battered chicken filet, barrel-cured pickles, and a buttery brioche bun.

Popeyes might be dialing up the spice, but they’re keeping the comfort-food vibes just where you want them.
