7-Eleven Announces Hot Dog-Flavored Sparkling Water

Though April Fools’ Day is right around the corner, that’s not stopping folks from calling out 7-Eleven’s newest beverage as a stunt for the upcoming holiday. And they have every right to, because the retailer just announced a Hot Dog-Flavored Sparkling Water to join their lineup of new seltzer flavors in collaboration with Miracle Seltzer.

The collaboration features a lineup of four new flavors: Lemon Lime, Green Apple, Sweet Orange, and the instantly infamous Hot Dog, which draws inspo from 7-Eleven’s iconic Big Bite Hot Dog.

“The Big Bite Hot Dog Sparkling Water combines the delicious and mouthwatering experience of 7-Eleven’s iconic Big Bite Hot Dog into one refreshing beverage – ketchup and mustard included. Gone are the days of alternating bites of a hot dog with sips of a beverage; now those on the go can swap the bun for bubbles,” a 7-Eleven news release stated.

Cue the heavy skepticism, as the Hot Dog Sparkling Water is slated to make its debut on April 1, better known as April Fools’ Day.

Are folks crossing their fingers that the controversial, savory sip is going to be a reality or are they eagerly manifesting that this be simply just another April Fools prank?
