Here’s How to Book A Free Stay Inside Rice Krispies ReTreat Suite in Cape Cod

Just because the school bells are starting to usher kids back into the classrooms this week doesn’t mean summer is over –– in fact, summer shenanigans are in full swing! Rice Krispies decided to drown out the school bells with the sweet sound of Cape Cod waves crashing along the beach and seagulls flying overhead. Oh, and an entire two-room suite decked out from head to toe in the full Rice Krispies Treat-ment including a ball pit, craft station, and the ultimate Treat Yourself station in the living room.

Walking into the suite, guests are greeted by the iconic Cape Cod views of the ocean and sand. Chairs and games await the family on the private deck overlooking the sparkling Atlantic.

The ReTreat is separated into two rooms: the family room and the bedroom. The family room is the perfect space to give the family some much-needed R&R (probably stands for Rest & RiceKrispies in this case) with a full projector setup, a craft station to occupy the kids, a photo wall supplemented by wigs and props, and some of the comfiest, fluffiest furniture I’ve ever felt in my whole life.

One of my favorite activities inside the suite had to be the fort-building kit, complete with pillows and blankets and the fort construction gear. Oh my!

When you’re ready to tuck in for the night, the family can pile into the separate bedroom which houses a large king-sized bed and bunk beds for the kids. Oh… did I mention the ball pit slide? Yes. There is a ball pit slide.

(Note: not a good slide for 31-year-old Foodbeasts. May or may not know this from first-hand experience.)

So this is the part of the article when you ask yourself: why now? Why Cape Cod? Why Rice Krispies? Our new friend Jenny Lindquist, one of the brilliant minds behind the experience, clued us into their train of thought.

“Rice Krispies are all about nostalgia and making memories that last. We wanted to create something in a place where families were already flocking for the summer and Cape Cod felt like the perfect sweet escape.”

Much like the Eggo House of Pancakes experience, this suite life is a first come, first serve experience.

Families and fans can request to book one of five different two-night, three-day stays at the Re-Treat Suite by Rice Krispies Treats now throughout the month of August by clicking here – all for the joyful cost of $0. The suite is located inside the Red Jacket Beach Resort and Spa. And yes, you can bring the whole crew, as the Suite accommodates up to six guests in one queen bed, one set of twin bunk beds, and two rollaway beds.

Set your alarms! The booking requests will open on a rolling basis starting Monday, August 12th at 12PM EST. The stays will be available for booking as follows:

We had the greatest time in Cape Cod celebrating this immersive, deliciously nostalgic experience. At the end of the day, we walked away from the weekend with endless stories and memories. After all, when making memories with those you love, why not make them a little sweet?
