Fly By Jing’s New Spicy Sichuan Beer Is A Fit For The Year Of The Dragon

Lunar New Year 2024 is the Year of the Dragon, and TALEA Beer Co. has teamed up with the sauce bosses at Fly By Jing to heat things up via their new Weekender Sichuan Lager (5.4% ABV).

Available at all TALEA New York City taprooms exclusively for the month of February, the beer is a citrus lager featuring Fly By Jing’s Tribute Peppers for a tongue-tingling spice with a splash of calamansi fruit.

To kick off the partnership, guests of all TALEA’s taprooms received a complimentary 2oz Fly by Jing Sichuan Chili Crisp jar with purchase of a draft pour of the Weekender Sichuan Lager.

Additionally, the two women-owned brands will feature two limited-edition menu items throughout the entire month, including the Spicy Fly by Jing Martini (Tribute Pepper-infused vodka, Sichuan Gold chili oil) and the Chengdu Crunch Wrap (spring onion wrap, hard boiled egg, Fly By Jing Chengdu Crunch, kale, Fly By Jing Chili Crisp Vinaigrette), crafted by Milu Chef & Owner Connie Chung.
