Take Game Day Munchies To New Heights With This Cannabis-Infused Buffalo Sauce

We’re less than two weeks away from Super Bowl LVIII, which means that it’s prime time to get all of your game day ducks in a row.

If you’re all about tailgating eats and elevating your munchie game, then you’ll be pleased to know that cannabis brand Good News has partnered with Chicago-based sports bar The Fifty/50 to help your buffalo wings take flight.

On February 2, make your Super Bowl Sunday a memorable one with a bottle of the new Big Game wing sauce, available at participating Sunnyside dispensaries located throughout Chicago.

Dana Mason, Vice President of Wholesale Marketing at Cresco Labs said in a press release, “While the Super Bowl is a major advertising opportunity for brands, cannabis ads are still banned, but that hasn’t stopped the industry from finding creative ways to be top of mind among consumers. Buffalo wings and sports go hand-in-hand, and The Fifty/50 has Chicago’s best wings, so we collaborated on the first THC-infused buffalo wing sauce — the perfect play for game day.”

Football fans are no strangers to cannabis consumption. According to adult-use cannabis research from BDS Analytics, there was a 13 percent sales boost year-over-year in the days leading to, and a 7% increase on the day of the Super Bowl. The Fifty/50 typically sells more than 1,000 pounds of chicken wings on the big day.

The Big Game wing sauce infuses distillate cannabis oil with The Fifty/50’s award-winning, mild buffalo sauce. Bottles come in a 10 oz size and contain 10 servings of 100 mg of THC (10 mg per 1 oz serving). A saucy high will run you $30 to experience, and you must be 21 and over to purchase.

For a limited time only, stop by Sunnyside River North, Wrigleyville, Buffalo Grove, and Schaumburg locations to purchase a bottle.
