Sprinkles Is Celebrating Lunar New Year With A Bruce Lee-Inspired Cupcake

As Lunar New Year approaches, Sprinkles Cupcakes bakeries across the country are celebrating with a limited edition Gold Dragon Bruce Lee cupcake.

The cupcake itself celebrates the partnership between the Bruce Lee Foundation and Gold House, a non-profit organization based in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and Singapore that promotes the interests of people of Asian and Pacific Islander descent.

Inspired by the traditional almond cookies gifted during Lunar New Year and symbolic of the Year of the Dragon, the cupcake rocks a buttery Twin Dragon almond cookie crust, dances with slivered almonds, and flaunts a fragrant almond cream cheese frosting. As if that’s not enough, a dragon candy swoops in for the grand finale. Both almonds and the color red are symbolic of good luck and fortune in Chinese culture.

This item is available for $6 nationwide, starting on January 22 through February 11 at Sprinkles Cupcakes locations across the country.
