Sonic Is Giving Teachers Free Food And Drinks For A Week

If the pandemic taught us anything, it’s that teachers have all the patience because they tolerate kids for full eight-hour days, five times a week. And not just any kids, your kids! To honor these educators, Sonic is giving away freebies for a week.

Between January 16 and January 19, educators can enjoy exclusive deals from the fast food chain. Teachers, faculty, and staff working in K-12 schools or degree-granting universities are eligible for these deals by joining Sonic’s Teacher’s Circle on the app. Upon joining, they will receive daily freebies and rewards.

If you are a teacher, here are the deals you can snag next week:

  • Tuesday, Jan. 16th: Free Large Drink or Slush
  • Wednesday, Jan. 17th: Free Regular Breakfast Burrito
  • Thursday, Jan. 18th: Free Small Cold Brew
  • Friday, Jan. 19th: Free French Toast Sticks

This is Sonic’s way of showing appreciation to educators as they begin a new semester. The chain also does this promotion in August as teachers across the nation head back to school.

If you are heading to Sonic with someone who is a teacher, remember that Sonic contributes a portion of proceeds from Drink, Slush, Blast, or Shake purchases to the Sonic Foundation. This foundation supports public education through the Sonic Limeades for Learning initiative, so while non-educators don’t get a freebie, your purchases are still making a positive impact.
