KFC Japan Debuts Chicken Made To Pair With Alcohol

KFC Japan has unleashed a new sensation for foodies and party enthusiasts alike with their latest creation, the “Ninniku Crispy” or “Garlic Crispy” chicken. Crafted specifically to complement alcoholic beverages, this new chicken features a tantalizing blend of garlic, soy sauce, and a crispy batter, all culminating in a final touch of garlic-infused oil sauce.

The brand’s product development team has achieved a harmonious balance of flavors with this new offering, resulting in a confidently seasoned fried chicken, perfectly suited for the upcoming year-end festivities. Available in limited-edition “Kanpai” barrels, the new chicken can be enjoyed with either the Original Chicken or Kernel Crispy options, priced at 1,680 yen ($11.40).

Indulge in the Ninniku Crispy experience individually at 290 yen ($1.97) per piece, or opt for the three-piece set at a pocket-friendly 600 yen ($4.07).
