A Foodie Preview Of The Disney Festival Of Holidays 2023

Nothing says, “Happy Holidays,” better than Mickey and Disney. Every year, Disneyland unveils its festive treats for the holiday season and it’s that time of year again.

Starting November 10, 2023, through January 7, 2024, fans can visit Disney California Adventure Park and the Downtown Disney District for an assortment of cheerful treats like a Mickey-shaped macarons with a side of hot chocolate.

This year, Disney is getting inclusive, showcasing the full slate of diverse menu items inspired by the traditions of Christmas, Navidad, Hanukkah, Diwali, Kwanzaa and Three Kings Day.

Here are a few new and returning treats you will find this year:

Just in time for Diwali (November 12), when Hindus fast for the holiday by only eating vegetarian foods. Now, Disney is bringing the impossible! Pun intended. Topped with lemon raita and coriander chutney, these Impossible Chicken Curry Bites are sure to be enjoyed for the lighted festival.

Guava-Melon Lassi from a Twist on Tradition

Also, during Diwali, you can’t drink alcohol, so what better way to celebrate than with a non-alcoholic beverage. This new beverage is a play on the classic ‘mango lassi,’ now featuring guava nectar, rock melon syrup, yogurt and honey, garnished with cinnamon whipped cream and honey-flavored cereal.

Kielbasa with Pierogi from Smokejumpers Grill (New)

With a little Polish twist, this Kielbasa is served with potato and cheese pierogies, sauteed peppers and onions, and Dijon-sour cream from Smokejumpers Grill.

Southern Mac and Cheese from Merry Mashups

And no holiday is complete without a dinner table staple — mac and cheese! This new mac and cheese is made with andouille sausage and spiced panko crunch.
