Watching Kodak Black Learn To Make Pizza Is An Unexpected Type Of Wholesome

One of the joys of social media is that it’s filled with some of the most unexpectedly endearing content. My timeline, for example, is on kitty overload — believe it or not, it reminds me to ‘paws’ and be present. Speaking of heartwarming content, a video of rapper Kodak Black learning how to make authentic Italian pizza popped up on my feed the other day.

The crash course apparently came during a visit to Italy. In the video, Kodak cheerfully takes guidance from Vincenzo Capuano, owner of Pizzeria Vincenzo Capuano, and his youthful and animated father, Grandpa Enzo. It’s a messy and merry affair as Kodak goes through each meticulous step. Donning one of the pizzeria’s shirts, he starts with the flour mix before humorously comparing the act of slapping pizza dough to sex.

It’s a wonderful sight to see when two vastly different worlds are brought together by a shared love of one of the best foods ever invented. Kodak even gifts Capuano’s father his diamond-encrusted chain. When Kodak finally puts the pizza into the oven, he jumps in excitement. It’s an infectious type of joy that unexpectedly puts a smile on your face.
