French’s Makes Mustard-Flavored Skittles An Actual Thing

The world has seen some shocking concoctions in the year 2023. We’ve had Ding Dong Twinkies, Lay’s potato chips inspired by sandwiches, and ranch-flavored ice cream. But nothing, I repeat nothing, could have prepared me for the newest Frankenstein: French’s Mustard Skittles.

August 5 is National Mustard Day and French’s is no stranger to unique product releases in honor of the holiday.

“From Mustard Ice Cream to last year’s viral Mustard Donuts, this year marks the fifth time French’s has gone all out with unique, flavorful innovations to celebrate National Mustard Day. With the yellow holiday landing on August 5, we knew we had to outdo ourselves,” said Valda Coryat, North America Vice President of Marketing for McCormick & Company.

Fans wanting to get their hands on this unforeseen collaboration are in luck with four different chances to catch the bright yellow vintage VW Mustard Mobile:

  • Monday, July 31: Atlanta – Ponce City Market from 11AM-3PM
    • 675 North Avenue NE, Atlanta, GA 30344
  • Wednesday, August 2: Washington D.C. – City Center from 11AM-3PM
    • 825 10th St NW, Washington, DC 20001
  • Saturday, August 5: New York City – Hudson River Park from 11AM–3PM
    • 555 12th Ave, New York, NY 10036

If you can’t make your way to any of those places in the next few days, French’s has a free online sweepstakes where fans can enter for a chance to win a pack of French’s Mustard Skittles. In case you’re wondering, I’ve already entered multiple times.
