Video Of Man Putting Cheese & Peanuts In His Soda Goes Viral

Clearly bored by generic soda, a man decides to level-up his carbonated beverage during a stop at a local store called “Powerfull Soda.” Aptly-named “Cheese Blast Soda,” there’s no telling whether the move is innovative or simply vomit-inducing. It’s generally accepted that cheese is a surefire flavor enhancer, yet there’s zero evidence that carbonation and dairy play nice together. That said, curiosity has made many oddball food trends popular.

Shared on Instagram page Foodie Addicted, the video shows the unknown soda assailant filling a glass with ice, peanuts, and a combination of sodas. If peanuts weren’t weird enough, the flavor quandary doesn’t end there. Next, he grates cheese into the greenish liquid, thoroughly covering the top with a hefty layer. He then takes a large sip straight to the face, with a satisfied expression that’s almost convincing.

Naturally, the comment section went crazy in response, with reactions ranging from amused to concerned. One person threatened to unfollow the popular food blog, while another said they’d rather get hit by a truck than try it.

One devout lover of cheese begged him to stop wasting their beloved dairy staple. Another responded hilariously, asking which language they should use to express their disapproval.

All jokes or slurs, aside, trying new things is one of the best parts about food. But just because you put a bunch of delicious ingredients together doesn’t mean it’s gonna actually taste good. The question is, how many of you Foodbeasts are up for giving the Cheese Blast Soda a try?
