Tacos AF: Come for the Tacos, Stay for the Vibes

Tacos AF

There’s something to be said about the ambience of a meal, where all of our senses beyond taste are also just as stimulated. And though ambience is regularly attributed to sit down, white tablecloth restaurants, we can certainly apply it to all types of establishments.

Peep the scenario: You’re dining al fresco on a perfect 78-degree day, tucking into a full plate of enticing street tacos, sipping on a crisp bottle of Mandarin Jarritos, all while doing your happy dance to the sounds of Bad Bunny booming over the speakers.

Ideal right? Simply put, you’re vibing. But where such a vibe can be had is the million dollar question. The jackpot answer is at Tacos AF in Downtown Los Angeles.

Tacos AF is founded by friends Brandon Thompson, Emilio Sanchez, and Roman Royale, who all also work in the music and entertainment industry. Clearly, with these gentlemen at the helm, the vibes are crafted immaculately at Tacos AF. But with their cumulative backgrounds, that was a given. The thing that completes the whole package is the food.

At Tacos AF diners are treated to fresh meats from Los Angeles’ Compadres Carniceria and traditional stone-ground handmade tortillas from La Chapalita. The delicious results are flavorful carne asada tacos, a formidable breakfast burrito that may be the best in Downtown Los Angeles, robust chipotle-marinated chicken, and a comforting Elote Bowl.

Sure enough Tacos AF will have you coming hungry for the tacos, and keep coming back for the vibes.
