McDonald’s Japan Has a New Beef Stew Pie

McDonald's Japan Beef Stew Pie

As reported by SoraNews24, McDonald’s Japan is adding a savory Beef Stew Pie to the menu. It’s the first non-sweet pie to appear on the menu since the Cream Stew Pie was offered back in January 2016.

The Beef Stew Pie has a filling that’s made up of slow-cooked beef with carrots and potatoes. Fond de Veau, a French veal stock, is also incorporated in the sauce to enhance its richness and depth. Savory hand pies aren’t a novel concept, though, as they are a popular choice throughout the world, offering on-the-go ease packed with limitless deliciousness.

McDonald’s new Beef Stew Pie is available in Japan now until the beginning of January and priced at 180 yen ($1.59 USD).
