Nashville Hot Chicken Dumplings Are Fiery Fusion We All Need

The Nashville Hot Chicken movement has been adding a juicy kick to the food scene outside of its origin city for the past five years now, with it peaking in some cities like Los Angeles already. However, Mimi Cheng’s, a dumpling shop in New York City, has found a new iteration that sounds too good to pass up with their new Hot Fried Chicken Dumplings.

Spotted by @mikejchau, proud papa of @foodbabyny fame, the dumplings look to be a fusion force to be reckoned with. The Hot Fried Chicken Dumplings are said to be inspired by a food tour of Nashville, with the restaurant describing it further as “fiery, juicy, and crunchy, coated in a buttermilk hot sauce batter and finished with a cayenne pepper butter glaze. The homemade buttermilk ranch dipping sauce cools things off a tiny bit. Spice level is a 10/10.”

If you’re down to turn the flame on for your next meal, the Hot Fried Chicken Dumplings are available only for the month of September at Mimi Cheng’s dumplings in New York City.
