KFC Donates $275K to Big Brothers Big Sisters of America for Summer Activities

In a whole lot of wholesome news, KFC is donating $275,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of America to help provide meals this summer and to support the organization’s workforce mentoring programs.

The donation includes:

  • 5,000 gift cards to helpnewly matched “Bigs” (mentors) and “Littles” (youth) bond over a bucket this summer— according to BBBSA, the number one activity of Bigs and Littles is sharing a meal together.
  • An additional meal (via $20 gift card) donated to the families of new Littles so they can share a bucket of fried chicken this summer. Littles and their families will also get access to a digital, family-friendly cookbook with reheating instructions and recipes that demonstrate ways to stretch a KFC meal.
  • A $100,000 donation to support workforce mentoring programs that help prepare teens for post-high school success.
