Light My Fire Spork

Back in Kindergarten, they used to distribute these flimsy white sporks that only seemed to work on the softest of items such as corn, mashed potatoes and if you were slick, you could scoop up an entire chicken nugget. Apparently, we now have an alternative utensil combining product. The friends over at Serious Eats brought this to our attention today, this thing is apparently called the Bear Grylls of outdoor eating utensils. No more need to fumble around with a fork, knife and spoon. Made with a non-stick, Teflon-friendly, heat resistant Polycarbonate material (it won’t be melting in your clam chowder!), weighs .36 ounces and is durable and dishwater safe. They’re available on Amazon in about 18 different colors, for $2.79 each, or in a 25 pack for $59.99.
