KFC And Crocs Debut Bucket Clogs At New York Fashion Week

In a style climate where fashion’s geek elite are advocating for a post-sneaker world, footwear such as loafers, mules, and clogs have gained increased attention. Crocs, purveyors of ugly beautiful clogs with supreme comfort, have taken advantage of this recent fervor, recently aligning themselves with popular streetwear brand, Pleasures, for a collab that sold out quickly.

Riding the momentum from that release is Croc’s latest collaboration with an unlikely partner — KFC. However, for those in the know and who’ve been following the moves the fried chicken chain’s been making in the fashion space, the duo linking up may not be as unlikely as a casual observer might think. In what may be the upcoming spring season’s most outlandish and all at once extraordinary shoe releases, Crocs and KFC just unveiled a two-pair collection of sky-high Bucket Clogs and Classic Clogs draped in fried chicken all-over print and adorned with removable fried chicken charms that could easily be mistaken for some real wings.

The shoes were just debuted during New York Fashion Week by avant-garde Me Love Me a Lot (MLMA) and as expected, have already caused a ton of buzz. For those itching to slide the Kentucky Fried Chicken® X Crocs Classic Clogs on, they will retail for $59.99 this spring.
