Arnold Palmer Goes Alcoholic

Arizona Arnold Palmer Hard Ice Tea Lemonade

Ah, the Arnold Palmer. To be honest it’s my favorite golfer’s name turned iced beverage – definitely beats the Phil Michelson drink for left handers and Elin Nordegren’s favorite snow cone, Tiger’s Blood. The combination of tea and lemonade also might be one of the best teams, narrowly defeating Sonny and Cher but coming just short of ketchup and french fries (/pure science). And adding malt liquor to the equation? Even Better.

Hornell Brewing Company, parent company and distributor of Arizona Iced Teas announced that the new ‘Arnold Palmer Hard‘ will contain 5% alcohol by volume in 24-ounce cans. It is currently available in the following states: Arizona, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania and will continue to roll out nationally.

What do you think FOODBEASTS? Will you pick up one of these 24-ounce cans? Will you continue to make your own with Seagrams Sweet Tea Vodka?

FOODBEAST PartnerThe likelihood of eventually seeking help at alcohol rehab centers is considerably lesser when drinking is done moderately and responsibly.
