Kiva Introduces 24K Gold Coated Edibles for St. Patrick’s Day

With St. Patrick’s Day around the corner, it’s time to devise your plots for celebration. As usual, there will be drink specials and parades galore, but the cultural shift of marijuana legalization brings new avenues of festivity for people to partake in.

St. Patrick’s Day is the greenest day of the year and it’s about to get even greener. Green beer and cocktails are an expected element of the night, but now there’s an alternative form of indulgence at the end of the rainbow. Kiva Confections is launching a limited edition Pot O’ Gold Peppermint Pattie Terra Bite edible for the occasion.

Each soft peppermint fondant bite is covered with rich dark chocolate and coated with edible 24K gold, of course; how could it be St. Patrick’s Day without a glimmer of gold? These edibles are crafted with California cold water hash and said to contain 5MG of THC per piece.

These golden bites will be the first truly St. Patrick’s Day themed edible on the market. Could this be the beginning of a new holiday themed trend? Only time will tell. For now, it is always recommended to dose with caution as Kiva built its reputation on potent and tasty edibles. Beginning March 4th, Californians will be able to order their own Pot O’ Gold via the Eaze delivery app.
