For The First Time In 10 Years, Froot Loops Releases A New Flavor

I remember one of my earliest breakfast pairings consisted of a bowl of Froot Loops cereal swimming in ice cold milk and a Saturday morning episode of Freakazoid! to kick off my weekend. While Freakazoid! is sadly no longer on the air, at least Froot Loops is still around to greet us every morning.

Well for the first time in a decade, Kellogg’s just released a new flavor of Froot Loops: Wild Berry. The brand’s last new flavor, back in 2007, was Froot Loops Smoothie.

Froot Loops’ new breakfast cereal boasts a new taste and shape, a bit different than the classic iteration. Still, change can be nice. The classic green, blue, and red Loops are joined by a new purple star — featuring tangy and sweet berry-inspired flavors.

Later this summer, apparel fans will also be able to check out the new AWAYTOMARS X Froot Loops fashion collection that’s inspired by the new Wild Berry Froot Loops. We’ll be sure to keep an eye out for more info as news arrives on that.

In the meantime, Kellogg’s new Wild Berry Froot Loops will be available at all major grocery stores and retailers nationwide.

Maybe I can track down a few episodes of Freakazoid! on YouTube and try a bowl of the new Wild Berry — you know, try and recapture that spark from my youth.
