Tired waking up to a high pitched smoke alarm every time there’s a fire? The Japanese have found an alternative to this, but it might still not be pleasant.
The Wasabi Smoke alarm, was invented to wake you up with the strong odor found in allyl isothiocyanate which is found in horseradish, mustard, and wasabi.The device was designed as an alternative to help people with hearing problems.
