Kraft Foods Announces Recall After Metal Wires Found in Multiple Velveeta Products
This past Friday afternoon, Kraft Foods Global Inc. announced a voluntary recall of approximately 137,000 cases of its Velveeta Shells & Cheese as well as their Velveeta Rotini & Cheese products distributed throughout the United States. The cause of the scare? The “possible presence of small, thin wire bristle pieces.”
While no injuries have been reported, the press release asks you to identify any possible Velveeta products in your pantry and return them for a refund or exchange. Here are a list of products involved in the recall:
