Meet The Hotel With The Most Breathtaking Dinner Views In Los Angeles
Skyscraper lights illuminate the Los Angeles night sky, and if you’re in the city, the dream is to have your breath taken away by the skyline views that are usually reserved for movie scenes.
It’s not often that you get a chance to dine with an amazing skyline view, but there’s a new skyscraper in town that offers just that, and it is an experience like no other.
The Intercontinental Hotel is 73 stories high, 1,100 feet above street level, and not only do they offer a rooftop bar, but they have restaurants that basically check off all the boxes for the most romantic time.
Whether it is breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even a late-night drink on their rooftop bar, the restaurants at this particular hotel are set up so that you have amazing views that you don’t really get with any other dining experience in Los Angeles or few other places in the U.S., for that matter.
If you’re looking for a special L.A. date night, or business lunch, the eats at Intercontinental do provide an impressive experience:
Breakfast at Dekkadance
Dekkadance is located on the 69th floor, and while it is open for lunch and dinner, the breakfast is hard to beat. If you do spend the night at the Intercontinental and wake up craving delicious scrambled eggs that you can build yourself, along with a solid cup of coffee, Dekkadance has the morning hookups. There’s something relaxing about taking a sip of your Joe, and getting a unique overhead view of the Staples Center in the distance.

Sushi at Sora
Sora isn’t your typical sushi spot. Although they use the trendy conveyor belts to showcase the food, the views above Dodger Stadium and into the surrounding hills makes the experience a little more special. Do beware that the prices are heftier than your everyday conveyor belt sushi spot, so if you just start grabbing stuff off the belt, keep the prices in mind.

Dinner at La Boucherie on 71
La Boucherie is a couple floors higher than the other restaurants, being on the 71st, and offers that fancy steak dinner you want to impress your date with. If you’re planning an extravagant night, you’re just not going to beat the combination of French-inspired cuisine and the insane panoramic view of the city at night. This is THE spot at the Intercontinental. Just look at the hot date nights below. This is where you go for your anniversary dinner, or to pop THE question. The food and views are THAT special.
