World’s Biggest Chick-Fil-A Will Be 5-Stories Tall And Honors WTC

Chick-Fil-A’s taking the essence of New York City and applying it to a 5-story restaurant that will honor the memory of the World Trade Center.

Set to open in 2018, the Chick-Fil-A will be the biggest ever built at 12,000 square feet, and will even offer a clear rooftop view of the Freedom Tower.

There will be a long staircase leading to dining rooms on three different levels and the rooftop dining area that will undoubtedly be a popular hangout spot at night.

Being built in the Fashion District, not too far from where the World Trade Center used to stand, the restaurant said it intended to respectfully honor the memory of the WTC by incorporating “elements built into the façade that give a subtle impression of the Twin Towers,” according to Chick-Fil-A’s official blog.

This sounds like quite an experience for a fast food restaurant, but if there’s one place where that type of extravagance works, it’s New York.
