6-Ton Chocolate Bar Sets Guinness World Record

Now that is a ton of chocolate! 6 tons to be precise.

This massive chocolate marvel was fashioned by The World’s Finest Chocolate company in Chicago as part of an education campaign, “Think Big. Eat Smart.” to teach children to limit their food portions (that makes sense, right?). This chocolate chunk was made with 1,200 pounds of almonds, 5,500 pounds of sugar, 2,000 pounds of milk powder, 1,700 pounds of cocoa butter and 1,400 pounds of chocolate liquor. The bar weighs in at 12,290 lbs and measures 3 feet high and 21 feet long, effectively shattering the previous Guinness World Record for Biggest Chocolate Bar by over a ton.
