Here Are All The Tax Day Food Deals And Giveaways Your Wallet Desperately Needs

Tax Day is only less than two weeks away and we’re all scrambling to get our paperwork done before the federal government drops the hammer on us.

Because we’ll probably be paying off a fair amount, any kind of food deal would really help us out before our refund comes in.

We dug around and found a handful of tax day deals and giveaways that’ll give your wallet some breathing room. Check out the delicious promotions below.

Hungry Howie’s Pizza

At any of Hungry Howie’s Pizza’s 500 locations, any patron who buys a 1-topping large pizza will get a medium 1-topping pizza for 15 cents. The deal is available for online and carryout purchases from April 17 through April 19. Use the promo code TAXTIME for online orders.

Capriotti’s

On April 18, Capriotti’s is offering free upgrades from any small sandwich to mediums. Nothing says food coma like a slightly larger sandwich.

Kona Shaved Ice

On April 18, Kona Shaved Ice will be giving out free cups of tropical shaved ice and complimentary Hawaiian leis to anyone who stops by. You can find the nearest Kona Ice truck to you by tweeting your zip code to @KonaIce.

Something like, “Hey @KonaIce, where you at near 91789??”

Hooters

In case you want to bring your kids to Hooters, the chicken wing-centric restaurant is offering to comp meals for kids 12 years old or younger. All you have to do is be an adult that spends $10 or more at participating Hooters locations on April 15 through April 18.

The Hooters Kids’ Meal menu includes items like boneless and traditional wings, chicken strips, grilled cheese, and sliders.

McDonald’s

Participating Florida McDonald’s will be giving away Big Macs and Quarter Pounders with Cheese for a penny on April 18. All you have to do is buy one of the two sandwiches at full price to claim the free second sandwich.

The promotion will be held at partipating McDonald’s locations in Florida. This includes Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Monroe, St. Lucie, Okeechobee, Indian River, Collier, Hendry, Lee, and Charlotte counties.

You’ll also be able to mix and match between the sandwiches.

Bruegger’s Bagels

You can get an entire bagel bundle from the Bruegger’s beginning April 12 through April 19 for $10.40 (get it?). At a $3.50 discount, the bundle comes with 13 bagels of your choosing as well as two tubs of cream cheese.

The catch is you’ll have to sign up for this deal through the Bruegger’s website to claim it.

Sonny’s BBQ

For their IRS, Irresistible Ribs Special, Sonny’s BBQ will be offering a half priced rib dinner on Tax Day, April 18. This dinner includes a half rack of ribs, two sides, and a piece of Texas toast.
