4 Fitness Pros Share Their Favorite Yogurt Recipes
Whether you are looking to maintain an active lifestyle or are on a quest to start a new one, most fitness professionals agree that breakfast is a fundamental meal in one’s day. That’s why having a go-to list of easy-to- make recipes that are delicious and good for you, is so important.
For some fresh ideas, we collaborated with four popular fitness influencers to see how they would incorporate a dairy-free almond yogurt alternative—along with fruits, nuts and grains—into their active lifestyles.
We used Silk Almond, a new dairy-free, vegan certified, soy-free yogurt alternative that has a deliciously creamy almond taste.
1. Melissa Eckman (Melisfit and Yogspiration)
Founder of the Melisfit and Yogspiration blogs, Melissa Eckman, a yoga and fitness instructor created a space where her followers can find personal tips on health, yoga and wellness. Melissa says the secret to her best morning ever ‘starts with an incredible workout’ and is immediately followed by a delicious breakfast.
“I think what’s hard for most people is staying on track, so the morning is the most integral part.”
She also likes to incorporate matcha powder with her dairy-free yogurt alternative, because matcha contains levels of natural caffeine that can help keep you feeling active all day long.

2. Katie Dunlop, Love Sweat Fitness
Health and fitness expert Katie Dunlop is the founder of the lifestyle and fitness blog, Love Sweat Fitness, a community in which women can find inspiration for fun, fast and effective workouts that can be done anywhere.
She explains that it is important for her to include the fats, proteins and carbs that her body needs in order to refuel and repair after a workout. The pistachios, shredded coconut and mango in Katie’s recipe help her incorporate these important nutrients and keep her feeling balanced after a workout.
