Brace yourselves, Disney foodies. The annual food and wine extravaganza you’ve been waiting for is returning to SoCal.
Disneyland Resort announced through the Disney Parks blog that the official return of the Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival will begin March 10, and occur every day until April 16th inside of Disney’s California Adventure theme park in Anaheim, California.
This is the second straight year of the Food and Wine Festival, which returned last year after postponing to allow for the construction of Cars Land, according to NBC Los Angeles. Unlike last year, where the event only occurred on weekends, the festival will take place every day this year, and expand to include even more of the features from last year’s festival.
The California-inspired food festival involves tons of “Festival Marketplaces” to purchase food and souvenirs, along with tons of California items being added into existing restaurants within California Adventure. A selection of California wines, spirits, and local dishes will be featured throughout the park, which will make it an incredible celebration of California’s rich and diverse bounty of food.
Some of the foods to expect at this event based on years past include flights of local California wine, Asian fusion and poke, San Francisco sourdough, and lots of other signature California items.
On top of that, the festival will feature tons of ticketed events, which includes culinary demonstrations, seminars on all different kinds of alcohol, premium dining occasions, and even appearances by celebrity chefs. Fan favorites like Duff Goldman, Guy Fieri, and Robert Irvine will be providing chef demonstrations during the festival.
Tickets to these special events go on sale February 1st, and tend to run out quickly. This is definitely a must-attend event for any foodie in California, and is the tastiest thing Disneyland does all year.
