Serena Williams Admitted She Ate Her Dog’s Food On Snapchat
Snapchat is quickly becoming a platform for celebrities — and their pets, to make some sort of commentary, without the fear of being mocked on trolled instantaneously. Last week, John Mayer reviewed some beef jerky with his dog, Moose, via Snapchat and it was pretty cool.
But now, a Snapchat video of tennis superstar Serena Williams admitting she ate her dog’s food because it, “looks good,” among other things, has surfaced and it’s a little odd. But, to be fair, we’ll let Serena tell the story.
From this perspective, William’s dog, Chip, is living the highlife. But, let’s break this down. While we’re all about pets eating gourmet food, William’s actions in this matter are highly questionable.
It’s understandable for any caring pet owner to want to ensure their pet’s food is safe. But, to justify grubbing on some salmon and rice that was ordered off the “Doggy Menu” just because it came in the same packaging as the “human” food and had an “expensive looking” spoon ARE NOT reasonable excuses! Just say you wanted to try the damn food, Serena!
Williams admitted in her Snapchat story that she thought this would be something people would want to “troll” or “hate” on, and she’s probably correct. But that didn’t stop her from divulging even more information.
“I ate a spoonful. Don’t judge me I ate a spoonful,” Williams said. “Let’s fast forward to two hours, I just ran to the toilet, like I was going to pass out. I force swallowed it…. it tasted like a house cleaner kinda thing,” she said.
After complaining about having to run to the ladies room, she kept justifying that it looked good. So, to prevent any other human from consuming the doggy menu again, she left a warning on the menu.
That’s great advice, Serena. But, it’s safe to say that’s going to happen if you eat anything. We hope you feel better and make wiser decisions about what you decide to eat — regardless if it “looks good,” or not.
