Donald Trump Thinks The World Trade Center Fell On “7-Eleven”

UPDATE 4/19: A Trump spokesperson told CNN that it was a slip of the tongue on Trump’s part and happens when you speak at several events in such a short period of time.
They admitted to the mistake, so put away your corny photo comments that claim he was talking about some 711 fire station nearby, and admit that this was funny.

Most of us know 7-Eleven as the convenience store where you can load up on snacks before a road trip, or grab a quick energy drink to get you through the day, but that is not how Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump knows the store.

During a rally in New York, Monday, Trump spoke about the horrific terrorist attacks that took place on September 11, 2001, and as detail-oriented as he is, Trump referred to the day as “7-Eleven.”

“It’s very close to my heart, because I was down there and I watched our police, and our firemen, down on 7-Eleven, down at the World Trade Center.”

Before we completely bash him, I will be the first to admit I was never near the World Trade Center back then, and it is very possible that there was a 7-Eleven nearby, but it is very unlikely that’s what the Donald meant.

Check out the video below and decide for yourself. Was he referring to the store, or is he just a jack-ass?
