This Minimalist Water Bottle Fits In Your Pocket And Starts Fires On Demand
If you run, bike, hike, or do any type of physical activity that requires you to lug around a water bottle everywhere, you know it can get annoying to find a place to store your special water-holding vessel.
Well, there’s a Kickstarter campaign from Minimal Design Company that’s looking out for you and putting together a multipurpose water bottle that literally rolls up like a tube of toothpaste, and can be easily stored after you’re done drinking.
The “Minimal Water Bottle” is made with “high-grade silicone,” which lets the bottle keep its shape when in use, and the collapse upon request. After folding up the bottle, there’s a nifty little paracord that hooks onto the rolled up bottle, keeping it all together.
The crazy design on this thing makes the bottle not only flexible, but we don’t have to worry about it getting dinged up, like, maybe a plastic, or stainless steel bottle would.
If you’re trying to channel your inner Bear Grylls, there’s a Flint/steel firestarter attached to the paracord, which means this water bottle not only tries to master the water elements, it dips into the fire game, as well.
Their Kickstarter pledge goal is $11,525, and as of this writing has $837 raised with 59 days to go in their campaign.
