Thieves Casually Order Carne Asada Fries While Robbing A Taco Shop

You can’t go into a taco shop without getting some delicious Mexican food, even if you’re robbing the place. That must have been the logic behind these two thieves who ordered carne asada fries before robbing Rolberto’s Taco Shop in San Diego.

It started off like a regular middle-of-the-night fast food run, as a customer aggressively yelled out for some carne asada fries, according to NBC San Deigo. Only problem is that the yeller and his buddy were wearing masks, and it’s not Halloween.

The two eventually jumped behind the counter, flashed their guns and informed the workers that they were being robbed.

Leo Rodriguez, who was behind the register, pulled out the money as quickly as he could because his family was in the back and he did not want them in harm’s way.

One of the robbers apologized to Rodgriguez, telling him he just lost his job, and the two pranced away with the money and fries in hand.

There was no surveillance video of the robbery, so police don’t really have any leads on the suspects.
