McDonald’s Testing European-Inspired Mini Sandwiches

As McDonald’s keeps throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks, the fast food overlords debuted two little sandwiches called “McTasters” in Canada.

The snack-sized sandwiches are meant to be smaller than their average burgers, but look a little too big to be considered sliders. At best, they’re tweener sandwiches.

The Greek McTaster has a 100 percent Canadian beef patty, with red onions, lettuce, tomato and Mediterranean Olive sauce drizzled inside an herb-topped artisan bun.

The Italian McTaster features a Junior Chicken patty, with parmesan cheese flakes, a creamy parmesan and italian herb sauce, tomato, lettuce and the same herb bun as its Greek buddy.

The European-inspired snacks will be selling for $2.99 each and will only be available for a limited time.

We’re pretty jealous of you, Canada, but as Barney Stinson would express, please don’t mess this up.
